Saint Paul de Vin
A fortress city on a mountain. Surrounded by a castle wall built to lock and hold the artists inside in the Middle Ages. Chagall's tomb is also here.
View of the residential area from the top of the castle wall. The design of the outer walls and roof of the building is regulated. The surface of the stone-hardened outer wall was washed away by the wind and rain, exposing the stone. Houses are densely packed on both sides of the narrow cobblestones. Currently, the first floor is lined with art shops for tourists.
Detached house in Southern France. The white walls are decorated with sundials and small bird dolls, providing fun to the cityscape. The white-painted brick exterior walls, the gently sloping orange roof, and the cypresses that stretch straight into the blue sky impress the character of Southern France. The building facing the narrow cobblestone street is covered with ivy and is a space-saving greenery with flowers.
Poster for the Joan Miró exhibition. The contents were very substantial, and I was surprised at the high level of culture even though it was a resort area. The Fondation Maeght Museum, which hosted the Joan Miró exhibition, has sculptures and Chagall murals casually arranged In a lush environment.
NICE
The capital of the Cote d'Azur. The artificially constructed gravel beach, Promenade des Anglais and the large Italian Gothic architecture are eye-catching. Facing the coast, Place Massena is a vast park surrounded by green palm trees. The coastline from Nice to Cannes is lined with resort condominiums and yacht harbors.
PORT GRIMAUD
A resort area planned by architect François Sporty in 1965. All units have yacht mooring rights. Residents can cruise directly from the garden to the Mediterranean Sea. Currently, the third phase is planned, the past two times are so popular that they are sold out at the design stage. Canals around the building provide maritime access, land access by cars is planned.
