CRETEIL
Créteil is an emerging commuter town on the outskirts of Paris. The ensemble of flowers, lawns, trees and stones around the sidewalk leading to the subway station is a very vivid arrangement of various colors. The impatiens that decorate the trees are flowers that are strong in the shade. The combination of flowers and trees is kind to the eyes of passers-by and gives them comfort.
PARIS
A small square facing the Champs Elysees. Paris is huge and the impression of flowers is not noticeable, but a considerable amount of flowers are used in the city.
The rows of horse chestnut trees along the Seine and the historic cityscape are unique to Paris.
Buildings of the same height with an attic are lined up. It is a scene that represents the city of Paris.
The Pompidou Center (1972-76) houses contemporary art, and the charm of Paris is that it is not only old but also new. This building looks like a spaceship or a machine, with the designer's intention to display social and cultural provocation. The designer is Renzo Piano, who designed the Kansai International Airport Terminal Building.
The design on the back of the building is amazing.Rather than exposing the piping, it was used as the main design aspect of the building. It is understandable that at the time of construction, it was controversial as a building unsuitable for Paris.
The fountain next to the Pompidou Center has a fun design and everybody can feel the playfulness of the city.
The city of Paris seen from the top of the Eiffel Tower (1888-89).
The Seine runs through the center. The old town is about twice as large as Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, and is packed with prosperity and cultural history.
Arc de Triomphe of Etoile (1806-36). It is a building commemorating the victory of Napoleon. Height 50M Width 45M Depth 22M. This is the center of a large roundabout with all roads radiating out.
La Défense district on the outskirts of Paris. There is no place for development in urban areas, and new architecture is currently concentrated in this area. The central gate-shaped building is a large arch (Grande Arche) with a height of 100 meters used at the Arche Summit (1989), and is called the New Arc de Triomphe because of its design similar to the Arc de Triomphe.
Montmartre hill seen from the top of the Eiffel Tower. The area around the Sacre Coeur is a cultural center where painters gather.
Forum de Earl. A glass-enclosed shopping center of the 4 basement floors and 1 floor above ground. The corridor, which takes in light and wind, stands out with its environmentally friendly design.
Musée d'Orsay. An Impressionist museum built in 1986 by renovating the Orsay station of the Orleans railway. It is no exaggeration to say that the revitalization of historic buildings and the high-level collection relocated from the Louvre Museum are the best in the world. In the exhibition room, there are a lot of pictures that I've known about. I'm impressed that I'm looking at so many real paintings.
