Iguazu Falls (Brazil side)

Breakfast at the poolside restaurant at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, the Southern Hemisphere was a cool autumn season, so no one was using the pool.Like a resort hotel, we were happy with sparkling wine from the morning. Tapioca sale was delicious!

Iguazu Falls seen from the Brazilian side

On the last day, we visited Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side. With the privilege of a hotel built in a national park, sightseeing started at 8:45 before the park opened. We were able to go sightseeing slowly because it was only for hotel guests. From the Brazilian side, we could see all the waterfalls in Iguazu.

We walked on the promenade with a total length of 1.2 km while looking at waterfalls of various sizes.Took a commemorative photo while covering the water at the promenade that protrudes above the waterfall overlooking the devil's throat.Since it was under the waterfall, the amount of water that falls was incomparably larger than on the Argentinian side.

Macuco Safari Boat
Through the jungle to the Iguazu River

After sightseeing at the waterfall, we took a boat tour of the Macuco Safari Boat.We went through the jungle, put on swimsuit, boarded a safari boat from the Iguazu River platform, and rushed into the Iguazu Falls.
We couldn't get close to the devil's throat, but it was powerful enough even at the waterfall downstream. On the boat, the captain took a picture with GoPro.The rush to the waterfall in the late autumn season was a bit reckless, but we enjoyed it very much.

Returned to the hotel and had the last lunch of the tour.We had a family birthday celebration with special food and dessert. After lunch, we slowly warmed up our cold body at the hot spa to heal and refresh the tiredness of our trip.

Checked out from the hotel at 17:00.It began to rain as if waiting for the journey to end.We got lucky trip with great weather. Lastly, we visited the tripoint of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay from the Brazilian side.I didn't know if it was Miguel's favor or misunderstanding, but it was a higher place than the Argentine side planned in the itinerary, and the monument was also fine on the Brazilian side, so it was good to see it from here.

The last pisco sour

Departed for Lima on an international flight from Brazil's Iguacu Airport. At the Lima Airport lounge, I drank pisco sour at midnight and headed to Japan via Los Angeles.
At the Los Angeles Airport lounge where I made the transfer, I talked an old Japanese man who was angry with the American staff in charge of the beer server. He has been in the United States for 60 years at the age of 82, and in 1958 he started an American sales company of Toyota and was about to return to Japan that day. Looking at Toyota's history, it seems that Toyota Motor Distributor was established in February 1958, and Hollywood Toyota, a dealer, was also established. So it seems that the old man was the founding member at that time.

We returned to Japan and said goodbye to the tour members at Narita Airport and finished the trip safely. The return trip from Iguazu to Itami was a long journey of 26 hours in actual flight and 36 hours in total, which went around the earth halfway. The teamwork of all 4 members on this tour was also the best, and it was a memorable tour.
