Italy 10th day
Last day in Italy. It was the 10th day in no time. Hilton breakfast was gorgeous. Even though I ate too much last night, I took too much again today. The city of Milan was a ghost town with a summer vacation and Sunday, so we decided to eat slowly on the last day and we went to Lake Como near the Swiss border.
Lake Como
We left for Como by private railway Milan North Railway. It was easy to get on the train from the first station (Milan North Station) to the last station (Como LAGO Station) because there was no transfer. The clouds were thick and the weather was unstable today. The train was a non-smoking car. The trains were dirty and along the railroad and walls of the buildings were full of graffiti, but in Italy it was nice to restrict smoking everywhere in public places such as airports.
Took a walk along the shores of Lake Como.We didn't have enough time to explore Lake Como, so we rode the cable car to the top of the mountains surrounding Lake Como. The cable car was very steep and I was scared to stop twice in the middle.
The temperature on the mountain was 14 degrees Celsius and it was cool. The Sunday Mass of the church was just over. We took a walk in the villa town and had a cool and comfortable time without sweating. The scenery of Lake Como and Switzerland that could be seen from time to time was also beautiful. A dog was lying on the wall. We walked toward the church of San Maoritzo, but alas, we didn't know the geography, so we turned back on the way due to time constraints. (It seemed that there was a minibus from the station of cable car.)

When we came down from the mountain, the sun was shining and it became very hot. The family bought toys at the cable car platform. We took a commemorative photo by the lake and returned to Milan on the Milan North Railway Line departing at 13:16.
Returning to Japan
On the way back, we headed to Itami from Malpensa Airport in Milan via Frankfurt and Narita.
We bought chocolates, biscuits and other souvenirs at Malpensa Airport and had a light meal at the BAR.
In Frankfurt, baggage inspection was very strict due to the terrorist attack that was caught in England just before. We all took off our shoes, took off our belts and had an X-ray examination.
My family was drawn into another room and I was a little worried (due to the binoculars I had put in the luggage).
In Germany, unlike Italy, which is all about, the departure time of the cart was displayed in seconds. I bought wine to spend euro coins.
I decided to donate the surplus of 61 cents in Narita.
The sun was setting and we left for Japan, and the plane was full.
15:20 Arrived at Narita Airport on time.
The tour's dissolution ceremony was held just after leaving the plane. I was grateful that the fun tour ended safely.
Chao is a convenient greeting that can be used for both "hello" and "goodbye", and was the most frequently used word for this trip. Let's use it again at the end of the trip.
Someday again, Chao, Italy!
